1.0 IPAMA<br />

Indian Printing Packaging & Allied Machinery Manufacturers' Association, in short IPAMA, is<br />

an All India apex body of manufacturers' of Printing, Packaging, Converting, Digital and<br />

Signage Machinery.<br />

Ever since its inception 1991, IPAMA is dedicated to dissemination of information on<br />

technology, market perspectives and various developments taking place around the World,<br />

relevant to the Indian Graphic Arts Industry.<br />

As an active member of the Committee for Indian Standards for printing industry, under aegis<br />

of Bureau of Indian Standards, IPAMA plays a vital role in formulating Standards for Indian<br />

products. As a result, today, Indian products have earned global acceptance.<br />

IPAMA is dedicated for promotion of the Industry. As a member of Asia Print and Global Print,<br />

plays vital role in Global fraternity. Thus, strives to build Incredible Brand India image.<br />

Amongst other activities, for promoting the industry, every two years it holds International<br />

Exhibition, “PRINTPACK INDIA” of on-going technology and state-of-the-art equipment,<br />

Seminars, Conferences and Workshops. This is one of the mega showcase of the industry in<br />

South East Asia. The 11th exposition is slated for 23rd to 28th February <strong>2013</strong>, at India Expo<br />

Centre, Greater Noida, NCR Delhi.<br />

IPAMA is a two-way conduit also. Matters of importance to the Industry are taken up with<br />

various agencies, both statutory and non-statutory.<br />

Amongst various matters, some of the important issues taken up are:<br />

�Assistance from Ministry of MSME for our members, under International Co-<br />

operation Scheme, for participating in Drupa 2012.<br />

�Taken up with Ministry of Commerce and Industry for restricting, If not totally<br />

banning, import of Second Hand Machinery.<br />

�Raising of exemption limit for payment of Excise Duty with Ministry of Finance.<br />

3.0 Connectivity<br />

India Expo Centre is located in Greater Noida, near the JP Golf Course and within easy reach of<br />

Central Delhi and the International Airport on the new 8-lane Greater Noida Expressway. The<br />

venue is easily accessible by car from Central Delhi within 45 minutes. There are several routes<br />

available from the centre of Delhi.<br />

Route 1 : Via Ring Road New Delhi<br />

Take the DND (Noida Toll) bridge and approach Greater Noida exit after the toll booths.<br />

Continue past Film City and onto the Expressway.<br />

Route 2 : Via Mathura Road - Apollo Hospital - Kalindi Kunj<br />

Drive past the Apollo Hospital & take left for Kalindi Kunj to reach Amity flyover & take loop to<br />

get on the Expressway.<br />

Route 3 : Via Ghaziabad - NH24 - Mayur Vihar<br />

Take NH 24 and continue left from Akshardham Setu on Mayur Vihar - Noida road, through the<br />

DND underpass. Continue past Film City and onto the Expressway.<br />
