CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS<br />
YOUTH & SCHOOL GROUPS<br />
All cancellations or night transfers for youth/school groups<br />
must be received in writing. Cancellations received at least<br />
two weeks prior to the camp date will be issued a refund of<br />
50% of the total $200 deposit. Cancellations within two<br />
weeks of the camp date will be issued no refund on the total<br />
$200 deposit.<br />
Requests to transfer program date are subject to availability.<br />

FAMILY NIGHTS<br />
All cancellations or transfers for family nights must be<br />
received in writing. Cancellations received at least 2 weeks<br />
prior to the camp date are eligible for a refund minus a $25<br />
processing fee. Cancellations received within 2 weeks prior<br />
to the camp date are eligible for a refund minus a $40<br />
processing fee. In addition to the processing fee, cancellations<br />
received within 2 days of the camp date will be<br />
assessed a fee of $24 per person to cover committed<br />
program costs. Requests to transfer program date are subject<br />
to availability. Cancel or transfer via fax 416-392-5948 or<br />
email bushcamp@torontozoo.ca.<br />
The <strong>Toronto</strong> <strong>Zoo</strong> reserves the right to cancel any night due<br />
to insufficient enrolment. Should this occur, a full refund<br />
will be issued.<br />
ARRIVE 4:45 pm<br />
(Note: late arrivals/early departures cannot be accommodated)<br />
Park in the <strong>Toronto</strong> <strong>Zoo</strong>'s Administrative-Support Centre<br />
parking lot which is located at 361A Old Finch Ave.<br />
A map will be included in your confirmation package.<br />
Bush Camp staff will meet and escort you to a <strong>Zoo</strong>mobile<br />
that will transport you and your gear to Bush Camp. Then<br />
get ready to have a roaring good time!<br />
5:45 pm Tour of Savanna<br />
7:30 pm Dine at Simba Safari Lodge overlooking the<br />
Rhino habitat<br />
9:00 pm (dusk) Evening program including<br />
games and activities<br />
10:00 pm Campfire program<br />
11:00 pm Lights out<br />

FOR <strong>2011</strong><br />
Bush Camp
How will your adventure unfold?<br />
The sun sets over the African Savanna. The buzz of<br />
crickets is briefly dulled by the roar of distant lions.<br />
We stroll along the trails, ever watching for a glimpse<br />
of the diverse wildlife. The stars appear and light our<br />
way as we brave the Serengeti night and return to<br />
camp. The flames of the campfire dance as stories of<br />
the day’s adventure are told.<br />
Come to the <strong>Toronto</strong> <strong>Zoo</strong>’s Serengeti Bush Camp to<br />
experience the wildlife of our African Savanna and<br />
Rainforest Pavilion, enjoy evening activities, campfire<br />
tales and the chance to sleep under the stars in our<br />
authentic African tents.<br />
Dates<br />
Bush Camp takes place from Victoria Day weekend<br />
to Labour Day Weekend. To check the availability of<br />
your preferred date, visit torontozoo.com or call us<br />
at 416-392-5947. Bush Camp does not take place on<br />
Wednesday nights during July, August, & September.<br />
Reservations and Confirmation<br />
Reservations are accepted on a first come, first<br />
served basis online at torontozoo.com. Expect a<br />
confirmation email within 2-3 weeks of submitting<br />
your registration.<br />

What’s included?<br />
<strong>Zoo</strong> admission while attending the program, tent accomodation<br />
with cots, buffet style dinner & breakfast, snacks,<br />
fun-filled interactive program, and an opportunity to see the<br />
rest of the <strong>Zoo</strong> on another day before the end of the year.<br />
*Please note: showers, sleeping bags and pillows are not provided.<br />
Meals<br />
Dinner and breakfast menus are posted at<br />
torontozoo.com. Most allergy-related meal requests can<br />
be accommodated (with at least 3 weeks notice).<br />
Age Limit<br />
The Bush Camp Program is not suitable for ages 5 and<br />
under. Only participants born in 2005 or earlier will be<br />
permitted to attend.<br />
Tent Accommodation<br />
Thirteen safari-style canvas tents on wooden platforms can<br />
accommodate a total of 60 people. Tent layouts will be<br />
provided upon request.<br />
Groups (20 people or more) who wish to book the entire site<br />
may book any night except Wednesday, Friday or Saturday<br />
in the months of July, August or September. To increase the<br />
chance of obtaining a date, groups are encouraged to<br />
register as early as possible. Please see torontozoo.com for<br />
date availability.<br />

How much does it cost?<br />
Youth & School Groups<br />
(Leaders/Teachers/Supervisors must accompany group)<br />
$76 per person including leaders/teachers/supervisors.<br />
A deposit of $200 and a valid credit card number are<br />
required to confirm your registration and cover any<br />
additional fees that may be incurred. The balance of<br />
your fees are due upon arrival on the night of your stay,<br />
(by cheque, VISA, Mastercard or American Express).<br />
Prices are subject to change.<br />
*Note: You must have a minimum of 20 people to make a<br />
booking. For groups that arrive with less than 20 the<br />
minimum payment required is $1520.<br />
All participants are required to sign a waiver prior to<br />
participation in the program. Parent/legal guardian must sign<br />
a waiver on behalf of children. Teachers/leaders are responsible<br />
to ensure these are complete or participants will not be<br />
permitted to attend. Details and waiver are included in<br />
confirmation package.<br />
