Professional Studies. Typically, an individual program emphasizes a<br />

special area of interest or a cross-disciplinary concentration. The<br />

program must include a thesis that focuses on the particular area of<br />

interest. It should be at least 75 units total and needs to be approved<br />

by two advisors, the coordinator of individualized programs, the<br />

dean, and the vice President of Academic Affairs.<br />
