JFK <strong>University</strong> offers a linked Bachelor’s and Master’s degree<br />
program in the field of <strong>Business</strong> Management. Linked degree<br />
programs allow qualified students to apply graduate-level units<br />
towards both the Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees. Students<br />
interested in seeking a linked degree must have been admitted to<br />
the undergraduate business program and have:<br />
• Completed 153 undergraduate units;<br />
• Completed all requirements for the Bachelor’s of Science<br />
program, except for 12 units in the specialization or general<br />
electives or a combination of both;<br />
• Achieved a minimum of 3.0 cumulative GPA.<br />
Benefits of linking Program<br />
• Saves time and money by completing the undergraduate degree<br />
while earning up to 21 units towards the MBA program;<br />
• After completing the 21 linking units, students will need to<br />
complete 9 additional graduate courses to complete the MBA<br />
program;<br />
• MBA degree can be completed in four quarters or less;<br />
• Ability to expand the depth of learning by attending graduate<br />
classes and working with MBA students;<br />
• Ability to broaden selection of courses.<br />
linking Program Prerequisites<br />
• Meet with BSBA Program Chair to ensure upper division<br />
transfer units have been correctly applied and that the approved<br />
substitutes are documented for the eligibility review;<br />
• Submit a Request of Linked Eligibility Review form and a<br />
Petition for Degree for the BSBA;<br />
• Submit Petition for Graduation and the Application for Linking<br />
to the registrar’s office, paying the current applicable and<br />
non-refundable fees;<br />
• Supply any additional documentation required for admissions<br />
to the MBA program including resume, letter of intent, and<br />
references;<br />
