in Master’s Thesis A and B, he or she will receive an In Progress
mark (IP). Students will not receive final credit for PSP 5991A, PSP
5991B, or PSP 5991C until they have submitted their final approved
and bound thesis, sent an electronic copy of the entire document
to the research director, and orally presented their research
findings to the pro gram.
If the project is not completed at the end of PSP 5991C Master’s
Thesis C, the student will take PSP 5992 Supplemental Thesis
Assistance for one unit each quarter until the master’s thesis is
completed. These supplemental units do not apply toward the
77-unit requirement for the degree. A maximum of six units of PSP
5991A–C Master’s Thesis A–C may be applied toward the 77-unit
degree requirement. The master’s thesis must be completed and
approved before the degree can be awarded.
