Eastern and Western psychology, the curriculum explores the<br />

entire spectrum of human development as the unfolding of the<br />

self through the integration of matter, body, mind, soul and spirit.<br />

The impact of each of these stages of development on the<br />

ecological and social issues of the planet is also examined.<br />

Students can use their professional development and elective<br />

courses to focus on specific areas such as communication,<br />

publishing and media, teaching skills and curriculum<br />

development, or work toward a certificate in Integral Theory.<br />

Students can also create their own area of emphasis through<br />

independent study.<br />

For Integral Psychology, applications are accepted all quarters.<br />

The deadline for fall is August 1, winter is november 1, spring is<br />

February 1, and summer is May 1.<br />

Program learning outcomes<br />

• describe and apply the major principles of Integral Theory as<br />

a unifying and comprehensive framework of psychological<br />

knowledge.<br />

• Apply principles from major schools of psychology, including<br />

psychoanalytic, behavioral, humanistic, social, and<br />

transpersonal to individual, interpersonal, and social situations.<br />

• Apply Integral Psychology principles to professional<br />

development and career goals in a way that fosters creative<br />

insight and transformative change.<br />

• Apply integral and sacred psychology practices of inquiry and<br />

meditation to daily life.<br />

• Apply major theories of developmental psychology including<br />

premodern, modern, and postmodern perspectives to personal<br />

and social transformation.<br />

• Apply integral methodologies to psychological research.<br />
