When travel is mandatory and no funding<br />

source can be identified, the cost of travel<br />

is a responsibility of the funding source<br />

which supports the administrative TAD<br />

travel requirements of the activity to which<br />

the participant is permanently assigned<br />

Inspections Operating funds that support the authority<br />

ordering or requesting the services of<br />

inspectors. Exceptions are for travel funds<br />

required for personnel who augment the<br />

Navy Inspector General teams and the<br />

command inspections conducted under the<br />

Command Inspection Program. These<br />

costs are chargeable to the operating funds<br />

available to the office providing the<br />

augmentee.<br />
