m., Dec. 11, 1878, Harvey W. Allison, son of Abram S. and<br />

Henrietta Allison, of New York city. They were second<br />

cousins. He was cashier in F. P. Freeman & Go's, banking<br />

house, .53 Exchange Place, New York, N. Y. He d. at Stony<br />

Point, N. Y., Nov. 17, 1879. Mrs. Allison resides at her<br />

father's home.<br />

III. Mary Allison Tomkins,* b. Stony Point, N. Y., Nov. 3, 1859; res. at<br />

her father's home. Stony Point, N. Y.<br />

John,2 Lawrence^). He was born in New York city April<br />

9, 1796. He married Mary Morgan, born Sept. 15, 1803;<br />

resides in New York city. He was in the mercantile business<br />

in Greenwich St., then later was in grocery business, corner<br />

of 6th Ave., 15th St. He died at his home, 239 West 50th<br />

St., New York city, Oct. 2, 1865, as did his wife. Mr.<br />

Allison was buried in Greenwood cemetery, lot No. 14-357,<br />

section, 162-169 between Grape and Vine avenues.<br />

John, 2 Lawrence ^). He was born in the city of New York,<br />

June 22, 1809 ; died in Tappan, N. Y., April 5, 1876. His<br />

home was in New York city till 1868, when he moved to<br />

Tappan, where he lived till his death, April 5, 1876. He<br />

married Susan Gentil, who died in New York city, April 5,<br />

1846, leaving children. He married, second, Harriet M.<br />

Calhoun. She was daughter of Henry and Eliza Melvina<br />

(Conkling) Calhoun, and granddaughter of Andrew Calhoun,<br />

who was born in the Parish of Ray, near the towns of<br />

Raphoe and Labadish, in the County of Donegal, Ireland,
