1686. Michael Allison, = b. June 3, 1773; d. unmarried. He was a man<br />

of wealth, and res. in the city of New York, where he d. at his<br />

residence, 46 Vesey street, March 25, 1855, and is buried in<br />

Greenwood cemetery.<br />

Lawrence 1). He was born in Haverstraw, N. Y.," and by<br />

Ms father's will, made March 19, 1796, he received considerable<br />

land res. ; Haverstraw, N. Y. He m. Elizabeth<br />

, who became intemperate and depraved in morals.<br />

This preyed deeply on his mind. He became disheartened,<br />

lost ambition, and worked as a common laborer for his<br />

nephew, William Cosgrove. She survived her husband, and<br />

forty-five acres of land were given to Christopher Cosgrove<br />

for her support in her old age.<br />

1692. Benjamin Allison.® He is said to have lived and died a bachelor.<br />

He was, named for his grandfather, who in his will left the use<br />

of a tract of land to his son, Robert, which should be inherited<br />

by this Benjamin, who was to pay his sisters £5 each, and to<br />

support his mother.<br />

1693. Hannah Allison." She m. Benjamin Youmans; res. in Haverstraw,<br />

N. Y., where he died. She m., second, James Kenney,<br />

of Sufferns, Rockland Co., N. Y. They had one child: Patty<br />

Kenney,' m. Mr. Bostwick. He was employed by the Garner<br />

Print Works, Garnersville, Haverstraw, N. Y., and had a family<br />

of children.<br />

1694. Margaret Allison," m. John Devine. They res. on Long Island<br />

where he was a farmer, raising produce for the markets.
