and is on his sixteenth pastorate, being now with the North<br />

Malcolm-street church in Sing Sing. He is son of Felix and<br />

Mary E. (Carmen) Shurter, who resided at Fishkill, N. Y.<br />

His father was born Aug., 1784 ; died Aug., 1875 ; and was<br />

son of Frederick Shurter, born in<br />

Poughkeepsie, N. Y.<br />
