404. Richard Allison (or Ellison), of New Hampshire,<br />

was arrested on suspicion of conspiring against the state during<br />

the War of the Revolution. On June 9, 1777, a committee<br />

of the General Assembly was chosen to investigate,<br />

and they reported in favor of sending him to jail for safe<br />

keeping. (N. H. Town Papers, vol. 8, p. 580.)<br />

405. Joseph Allison enlisted April 26, 1781, for three<br />

years, or for the war, in the army of the Revolution.<br />

405a. Ebenezer Allison, (or Ellison), of Deerfield, N. H.,<br />

refused to sign the Association List, in 1776.
