Mass. Mr. Allison was a Republican in politics. He had<br />
light hair, sandy complexion and blue eyes. He and his<br />
wife were members of the Baptist church. He died of consumption<br />
in Merrimacport, Feb. 5, 1867, aged 42 years, 6<br />
months, 6 days.<br />

Nov. 7, 1828, married, Nov. 20, 1851, Mary Little Gallishan,<br />
daughter of George K. W. and Elizabeth (Atkinson) Gallishan<br />
of Andover, Mass., where she was born Oct. 30, 1832.<br />
She died 1865. He married 2nd, Sept. 12, 1867, Mary<br />
Garbett, daughter of John Garbett, and born in England,<br />
May 2, 1846. Mr. Allison is a carriage maker. He lived<br />
in Concord, N. H., thirteen years, in <strong>Boston</strong>, Mass., two<br />
years, in Ohio eight years, in Chicago, 111., eight years, and<br />
in Aurora, 111., for several years. Residence, 114 South Lake<br />
St., Aurora, 111. He enlisted Aug. 11, 1862, in the 114th<br />
Regt. Ohio Vols., mustered as third sergeant, promoted to
