life, before Sept. 24, 1800, and probably in 1799. He married<br />

Betsey Abbott, of Kingston, N. H., who died Nov. 8,<br />

1799, aged 33 years. He and his family are buried in the<br />

cemetery at East Derry, near the burial-place of his father<br />

and grandfather and Rev. James McGregor, in the centre of<br />

the old yard. The administration of his estate was granted<br />

to Alexander McGregor, Sept. 24, 1800, and John Pinkerton<br />

was appointed guardian of his children.<br />

was born in Londonderry, N. H. (in the portion which is<br />

[31] (Capt. Samuel,^ Samuel^). He<br />

now Derry), Feb. 22, 1767. He married Anna Moore. He<br />

occupied a part of the homestead in Derry, and later removed<br />

to Weathersfield, Vt., and owned a farm near the southern<br />

foot of Ascutney mountain, where he died Feb. 23, 1805,<br />

aged 38 years, 1 day. Mrs. Allison was born April 23, 1765,<br />

in Londonderry, N. H., and died in Weathersfield, Vt., Oct.<br />

26, 1834, aged 69 years, 6 months, 3 days.<br />

was born in Londonderry, N. H., Dec. 17, 1766, and married<br />

July 5, 1795 or 1798, Daniel Abbot, of Peterborough, N. H., a<br />

trader, who was born in Lj'ndeborough, N. H., Juh^ 31, 1769.<br />

He was a carpenter in early life. Removed to Newburyport,<br />

Mass., and spent about five years ; returned to Peterborough,<br />

which he left in 1834. He died in VVestford, Mass.,<br />

Jan. 27, 1854, aged 84 years, 5 months. j\lrs. Abbot died in<br />

New York, N. Y., Nov. 22, 1737. She was a great reader,<br />

with a strong, active, and logical mind, and she and her husband<br />

attended the Unitarian church.
