The Vehicle Dynamics Forum took<br />
place Monday in the VTC Theatre. The<br />
group of highly informed, technically<br />
adept panelists included SEMA Advisor<br />
Ed Browalski; Tom Gillespie of Mechanical<br />
Simulation; Jim Lau from VBOX;<br />
Santhosh Jogi of dSPACE; Terry Ledwidge<br />
from Link Engineering; Mandar<br />
Hazare with CU-ICAR; Tim Watts<br />
from Superlift Suspension Systems, and<br />
Jim Popio from Smithers Rapra.<br />
Electronic stability control (ESC)<br />
systems have emerged as a key technology<br />
for new vehicles, and add an element<br />
of complexity for SEMA companies as<br />
they develop new performance parts.<br />
SEMA’s Vehicle Dynamics Program<br />
and participating member companies<br />
have made significant achievements<br />
over the past five years in understanding<br />
how performance products, such<br />
as suspension, brakes, wheels, tires and<br />
steering, as well as engine modifications<br />
interact with ESC and other active<br />
safety systems.<br />

available to members is the same<br />
Coming off of the success of last<br />
year’s Car Crazy International Vehicle<br />
<strong>Show</strong>case, Meguiar’s is once again<br />
advocating pride among car enthusiasts<br />
by displaying nine show cars from<br />
around the world at the 2012 SEMA<br />
<strong>Show</strong> in Las Vegas.<br />

more complex, this kind of testing will<br />
be needed.<br />

globe by Schumacher Cargo and Logistics<br />
and are now on display outside the<br />
