Earthquake TNT Series Amplifiers, Coaxials
and Subwoofers Are Budget-Friendly Upgrades
In 1984, Joseph J. Sahyoun, a music freak and aerospace
engineer unhappy with the existing loudspeaker technology
and performance, decided to put his advanced knowledge
in aerospace technology to use. He pushed his technological
boundaries to the limit to create the kind of subwoofer he
could live with.
For more than 25 years, Earthquake’s innovative audio
technologies have been connecting millions of people around

designs, manufactures and markets high-performance audio
systems for use in home and mobile audio/video systems for
the aftermarket and OEM automotive systems.
The TNT series of amplifiers have the power and intensity
that Earthquake is known for, but with an affordable price
tag. Everybody deserves a strong amplifier to keep up with
their sound system. Built with patented output technology,
high-quality circuitry and massive Mosfet power supplies, the
TNT series of amplifiers can deliver more power and cleaner
sound without breaking the bank.
All TNT amplifier models sport a slim, low-profile design
that allows them to be installed in tight spaces, such as under
the front seats, behind the back passenger seats, etc. There
are enough options for any setup as the TNT amplifiers
are available in class A/B and class D models with prices
starting at $175 per amplifier. One example, the TD5X
all-digital five-channel amplifier is a “One Install Does It
All” kind of amplifier with a suggested retail at $425 per
piece. With four channels at 100 Wrms per channel for
front and rear imaging, plus a subwoofer channel with more
than 400 Wrms output, the TD5X delivers 3,000 watts of
max power.
The TNT coaxials are designed to upgrade factory speakers
in a snap. Built with low-mass poly-injection cone bodies,
these coaxials deliver precision sound quality. The 30mm
mylar super tweeters reproduce high frequencies exceptionally
with ease. The TNT coaxials also feature the PistonMax
technology and large butyl surrounds that allow these coaxials
to produce cleaner deep mid bass in a shallow-mount design.
For example, the 6.5-in. TNT coaxial T65 can handle up
to 400 watts of power with only a 2.5-in. mounting depth.
Also available in 4-, 4x6-, 5.25-, 5x7- and 6x9-in. models
with a price ranging from $89 to $149 per pair of speakers,
the TNT coaxial is the perfect fit for your installation as it
fits most makes and models.
The TNT subwoofers can easily rival more pricey subs
when it comes to looks and performance. With doublethick,
high-density magnets, these subs effortlessly deliver
the hard-hitting bass Earthquake is famous for. Equipped
with Earthquake’s Triple Vent cooling technology, the TNT
subwoofers will keep their cool as they pump out that bass.
The TNT subwoofers also feature push-on terminals for
easy installation, stitched-in tensile leads for durability and
less cone distortion. Available in 10- and 12-in. models with
single and dual four-ohm voice coils (four-wound coils), the
TNT subwoofer can be easily integrated to many vehicle
audio systems.
