SEMA Show and a more convenient
way in which you can take advantage of
the membership benefits of its Global
Entry Trusted Traveler program.
Global Entry is a U.S. Customs and
Border Protection program that allows
expedited clearance for pre-approved,
low-risk travelers upon arrival in the
United States. Global Entry is open to
U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents,
Dutch citizens, Qatari nationals
and Mexican nationals. Canadian
citizens and residents may enjoy Global
Entry benefits through membership
in the NEXUS program. Though
intended for frequent international
travelers, there is no minimum number
of trips necessary to qualify for
the program. Participants may enter
the United States by using automated
kiosks located at select airports.
How Does the Global Entry
Program Work?
At airports, program participants
proceed to Global Entry kiosks, present
their machine-readable U.S. passport
or permanent resident card, place
their fingertips on the scanner for
fingerprint verification and make a
customs declaration. The kiosk issues
the traveler a transaction receipt and
directs the traveler to baggage claim
and the exit.
Global Entry Benefits
Your time is valuable. As a prescreened
Global Entry member,
you arrive in the United States,
check-in at the Global Entry kiosk
and you’re on your way.
No processing lines
No paperwork
Available at major U.S. airports
Reduced wait times
Participation in the TSA
Pre-Check program
This is a great new program
offered by the U.S. Customs and
Border Protection, and SEMA is
pleased to be one of the first large
trade shows to host this innovative
program that will assist many of its
members when they conduct international
travel. Apply today!
How to Optimize...,
continued from page 104
visitors use on the search engines to find
your video—information that can be
used to make informed decisions on the
kind of keywords your company may
want to bid for on Google-sponsored
links and similar sponsored links programs
on other search engines.
A fresh analytics report from Insight
is issued each day, so you’ll be able to
track spikes in viewership against the
rollout of new marketing campaigns on
any given day.
YouTube users with free accounts can
find the Insight tool by clicking “My
Account,” then “Videos.” You’ll find a
button labeled “Insight.” For a tutorial,
check out www.youtube.com/watch?
v=xWEdbgtJfLo. Similar tutorials can
be found by searching the keywords
“YouTube Insight video tutorial.”
Tag Your Videos: Tags are yet another
tool that video sites use to categorize
content. It’s important to place keywords
that are intimately related to your video
there as well. To tag it, simply click on your
video while on YouTube, click “Edit,”
and enter your keywords in the “Tags”
box. A video tutorial on how to tag is
http://tinyurl.com/youtubewatchtag.
Annotate Your Videos: If you’ve ever
seen a comment pop up when you’re
viewing a video on YouTube, that’s an
example of an annotated video. Fortunately,
many of the search engines treat
these annotations as keywords, so it’s
important to annotate your video using
the same keywords that you use in your
title, file name, etc. For details on how to
annotate, check out http://tinyurl.com/
