Thank You! The Marist Brothers appreciate the opportunity and support given us by the following Arch\Dioceses to speak in their parishes on behalf of our Marist foreign missions. Archdiocese of Springfield, Massachusetts Diocese of Manchester, New Hampshire Archdiocese of New York, New York Diocese of Brooklyn/Rockville Centre, New York Diocese of Youngstown, Ohio Archdiocese of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Diocese of Scranton, Pennsylvania 6 | 2012 MARIST ANNUAL NEWSLETTER …to Brs. James Adams, Dave Cooney, Gerald Doherty, Alfred George, Bob McGovern, James McKnight, Pat McNamara, Patrick McNulty, Dan O’Riordan, and Rene Roy who traveled around the country to speak at weekend Masses on behalf of our Marist foreign missions. Through their combined efforts, $45,001 was raised to help Marist missions around the world. A special “Thank You” to Br. James McKnight, Director of Missions for his dedication and time spent coordinating our Mission efforts with the dioceses and parishes across the United States. Free Money...Yours for the Asking!! In this economy, who isn’t looking for free money? Through an employer’s matching gifts program you could double or even triple your gifts to the Marist Brothers! You may already have the ability to do so. Many corporations make “free money” possible through matching gifts. Contact your personnel or human resources department where you work and ask if they participate. The best part is, it won’t cost you another penny to double or triple your next gift to the Marist Brothers. Your company will do that for you! Some retirees, as well as spouses, may also qualify…just ask! Making a matching gift is easy! Depending upon your employer’s policy, matching gifts can be made in one of the following ways: 1) By obtaining a matching gift form from your employer and sending it along with your gift to the Marist Brothers. 2) By providing your employer with a receipt or acknowledgement letter from The Marist Brothers which substantiates the gift was made. 3) If your company has a phone or internet matching gifts program, please indicate that you have arranged for such a match when you send in your gift.
