Application Story Application STRAIGHT TALK Brix Measurement for Fruit Canning in the US Signature Fruit, based in Modesto, California, is the leading producer of long-life fruit products. Its product range includes peach, pear, apricot and other juices. Signature Fruit markets its products under the brand names Libby's® and Nature´s Orchard TM, as well as under customers' own labels for international and industrial food retail. The mass flowmeters are used during the initial mixing of the bulk syrup, which consists of canners corn syrup, high fructose, and sucrose concentrates to achieve the desired Brix in the concentrate, which is calculated by the control system’s PLC. In the second stage the syrup mix is diluted with water and poured into containers with the fruit. Solution Why did the client choose KROHNE?
