Application Story – Optimass 2000 at Shell Canada<br />
Shell’s Sarnia Manufacturing Centre (SMC) in<br />
Ontario is also referred to as Shell’s Corunna<br />
Refinery. It is located on the St Clair river next to<br />
the US border and processes 72,000 barrels of<br />
crude oil per day. Shell Canada refines only low<br />
sulphur gasoline, which contains less than 150<br />
parts-per-million sulphur.<br />
Shell Canada Ltd purchased<br />
an <strong>OPTIMASS</strong> 2300F S150<br />
Custody Transfer version for<br />
use at the Sarnia site and on<br />
the right and above are<br />
pictures of the completed<br />
installation.<br />
This is our 3 rd installed 2000<br />
