Registrar by mail on application, provided the candidate has satisfied all the<br />
entrance requirements and provided the application is accompanied by a state<br />
ment giving the name of the school at which the candidate was prepared, the<br />
name of the principal of the school, and the course which the student proposes<br />

Other Undergraduate Scholarships<br />
The Eudorus C. Kenney Scholarships: Under the will of Eudorus C Kenney<br />
of the class of 1882, his residuary estate was left to <strong>Cornell</strong> <strong>University</strong>, the net<br />
income to be used for the establishment of scholarships. The amount of the<br />
foundation is about $40,000. Two scholarships, of the annual value of $250<br />
each, are awarded each year for a period of four years to applicants entering the<br />
<strong>University</strong> who are bona fide residents of the town of Truxton, Cortland County,<br />
New York. Such applicants shall be recommended by a committee consisting of<br />
the Principal of the Truxton Public School, the Superintendent of Schools for the<br />
district including Truxton, and the Supervisor for the Town of Truxton, the<br />
recommendation to be made and certified to the President of the <strong>University</strong> on<br />
or before September 15 of each year. The President shall award the scholar<br />
ship and certify the award to the Treasurer and the Dean of the <strong>University</strong><br />
Faculty. In case of a vacancy in any scholarship the value of the scholarship<br />
may be awarded by the Faculty Committee on Scholarships in such manner as<br />
it may deem best.<br />
The Kenney Scholars in 1923-24: Class of 1925: William Fuller Brown, jr.,<br />

The Frank William Padgham Scholarship, founded by Amos Padgham of<br />
Syracuse, New York, in memory of his son, Frank William Padgham, M.E. '88,<br />
