Once the setup was completed, the buckl<strong>in</strong>g test commenced (Figure 5-22). The l<strong>in</strong>er held a pressure <strong>of</strong><br />

over 50 psi (correspond<strong>in</strong>g to around 115 ft depth <strong>of</strong> immersion <strong>in</strong> water) for nearly 15 m<strong>in</strong>utes (Figure 5-<br />

23). Leakage <strong>of</strong> water was observed through the l<strong>in</strong>er material on the <strong>in</strong>ner wall <strong>of</strong> the CIPP l<strong>in</strong>er. These<br />

leaks suggest the presence <strong>of</strong> some migration paths though the res<strong>in</strong> matrix (Figure 5-24) at this elevated<br />

pressure. The cross-sectional pr<strong>of</strong>ile <strong>of</strong> the l<strong>in</strong>er before and after buckl<strong>in</strong>g is shown <strong>in</strong> Figure 5-11.<br />
