4.3.8 Tensile Test<strong>in</strong>g<br />

4.3.8.1 Downstream Sample. Specimens were cut from the retrieved downstream CIPP l<strong>in</strong>er sample<br />

<strong>in</strong> accordance with ASTM D638 (see Figure 4-37) for measur<strong>in</strong>g the l<strong>in</strong>er’s tensile strength. A total <strong>of</strong><br />

five specimens were prepared and tested. The results <strong>of</strong> test<strong>in</strong>g are shown <strong>in</strong> Table 4-19.<br />

Us<strong>in</strong>g the <strong>in</strong>formation given <strong>in</strong> Table 4-19, the stress-stra<strong>in</strong> curves for all samples were drawn, as shown<br />

<strong>in</strong> Figure 4-38.
