offering a good range of shops, bars and cafés and a<br />

traffi c-free centre. During the height of winter, the lake<br />

freezes over, enabling you to walk from one side to<br />

the other, while activities such as curling and skating<br />

are practised upon it. Zell am See is part of the Europa<br />

sport region which includes the neighbouring glacier<br />

resort of Kaprun. Easily accessible by local ski bus, the<br />

area provides a great range of pistes to suit all levels.<br />

After check-in, we make our way to the Kitzsteinhorn<br />
