118 Rights not affected
(1) Sections 103 and 104 do not affect the lawful rights or interests
of any person who is not a party to the deed of settlement.
(2) This section applies subject to the express provisions of this
subpart.
119 Limitation of rights
(1) Sections 103 and 104 do not have the effect of granting, creating,
or providing evidence of any estate or interest in, or any
rights of any kind relating to, an Owhakatihi.
(2) This section applies subject to the other express provisions of
this subpart.

Commercial redress
Transfer of commercial redress properties
120 Transfer of commercial redress properties
(1) To give effect to clause 6.3 of the deed of settlement, the
Crown (acting through the Commissioner of Crown Lands) is
authorised to do 1 or more of the following:
(a) transfer the fee simple estate in a commercial redress
property to (the trustees of) the governance entity:
(b) sign a memorandum of transfer or other document, or
do any other thing to execute such a transfer.
(2) In exercising the powers conferred by subsection (1), the Crown
is not required to comply with any other enactment that would
otherwise regulate or apply to the transfer of a commercial
redress property.
(3) Subsection (2) applies subject to section 123(2).
121 Minister of Conservation may grant easements
(1) The Minister of Conservation may grant any easement over
conservation land required by clause 6.3.6 of the deed of
settlement.
(2) An easement granted under subsection (1)—
(a) is registrable under 17ZA(2) of the Conservation Act
1987 as if it were a deed to which that provision
applied; and
