The AX3000 offers high stopping power in a weight
optimized package. Its predecessor has already
successfully been piloted in the Tour de France. The
AX3000 now manages to take things a step further.
Its fiber type is a direct derivative from motorsports
and is being bonded with an optimized resin system
under high pressure in our autoclave to a highstrength
and very stiff yet unrivalled light package.
Finished off with aluminium and titanium hardware
as well as its unique completely spherically adjustable
brake shoes as well as high performance
carbon specific brake pads the AX3000 comes in at
just 130 grams for the complete package.

The Zeus stem is being manufactured with an uninterrupted
fiber pattern that goes right through from
above the parting planes of the tools shape from
the handlebar clamp to the fork clamp - a manufacturing
method particularly developed for this bike
component that utilizes the maximum potential of
composite materials. That way the stem shows no
weak points and can score with constant rigidity at
its lengths. The result is a record-breaking weight
of just 60 – 70 grams depending on its length.
The AX4000 handlebar does not fall short either.
With its weight of just 135 – 155 grams it is in line
for record weight-wise, but does not sacrifice on
strength or durability either, having just as well successfully
passed all in-house as well as independent
EFBe torture-tests.

Setting new light weight standards – the Morpheus
crankset, offers the highest level of flexibility thanks
to its modular design and sets new standards
regards functionality and weight. Despite of its
unmatched system weight of just 380 grams for the
complete set including bearings and cups, the Morpheus
definitely has to be considered a heavyweight
in the matter of stiffness and durability thanks to
its oversized design and state of the art technology.
Adjustable pedal inserts allow for an easy adaption
of one’s crank length and thus further boost the
crank’s flexibility.

philosophy
Which has already been circulating as a rumour on the quiet is now in fact taking
shape in form of the AX Alpha, our interpretation of the ‚ideal‘ frame. Our aim was
to fully utilize the technical potential building on both our experiences and infrastructure
from working in the highest motorsports classes as well as the availability
of classified material; to build an exceptionally light frame that however does not
sacrifice in ride quality or handling, boosting carefree stiffnesses without resulting in
a harsh ride - simply a raceworthy, superlight bike. Customizable geometries, tube
shapes and layups as well as paint jobs further allow to perfectly tailor a bike to
one’s personal wishes and requirements and thus take individualism to a new level.
The frameset as well as all of our components are 100% Made in Germany.

Laterally stiff, yet vertically compliant – the
Alpha’s seatstays feature a massively transverseovalized
center section that is responsible to yield
an exceptional level of comfort without sacrificing
the least bit of stiffness or the frame’s dynamics.
Like that it is both suited for a fast criterium race
as well as also long tours on unpaved surface.
Details as the full carbon braking bridge, carbon
dropouts or full carbon cable stops help to keep
the weight as low as possible.

bracket
Efficient power transfer - the Alpha features an
oversized 85mm wide bottom bracket shell with
integrated bearings. The resulting wide bearing
stance in combination with the Morpheus
crankset result in a very stiff and durable bottom
bracket area. Full carbon bearings seats with the
absence of any metal ingredients ensure the lowest
possible weight.
The chainstay bridge with embossed AX logo is
both a reminiscence to traditional frame building
times and makes for clean aesthetics as well as a
factor to further enhance the rear end stiffness.
The full carbon braze-on FD clamp is both
compatible with standard as well as compact
chainsets.

The AX6000 is manufactured as
a seamless one-piece component
according to the same philosophy
of fabrication that was applied to
the stem “Zeus“. Thus powerful
jumps and stress concentrations
are limited to a minimum.
The shape of the fork reflects
the interplay of design, material
properties and ways of manufacturing.
The bow legged appearance
serves an aerodynamic purpose by
moving the fork blades away from
the turbulences of the spokes. To
make for a smooth transition with
integrated headtubes we also offer
the Tarnkappe fork cover.
