NOTE: <strong>Our</strong> 1941-48 Classic Continental <strong>Top</strong> <strong>is</strong> designed detail for detail from an original<br />
top. We make it using Haartz Stayfast or <strong>Top</strong>line; in Blk on Blk, Tan on Tan, or Blk on Tan only.<br />
The center deck <strong>is</strong> one piece from the rear deck to the binding across the front bow. An aluminum<br />
plate, supplied with the hardware kit, <strong>is</strong> screwed to the rear bow between the double material<br />
above the rear curtain opening to hold the center deck in position without v<strong>is</strong>ible tacks or wireon<br />
trim. On the rear bow the original rear curtain <strong>is</strong> hung on two webbing straps; also supplied with<br />
our hardware kit. In addition, we supply the original style rear curtain with our CLASSIC TOP<br />
and bind the top with top material to duplicate the original.<br />
We also make a production Continental <strong>Top</strong> that uses a one piece horseshoe zipper on the<br />
rear curtain. Sealed vinyl tops are not usually recommended for th<strong>is</strong> type of installation, unless<br />
you split the top at the rear bow and install wireon trim over the tack line.<br />
