Kimmy joins her brothers in
1988, celebrated in an article in
Auto Trim News.
January 1994 - The
fi rst issue of our
monthly newsletter,
“Keeping In Touch” is
released. The name
was changed the
following month to
“Keep in Touch”. The
letter was created to
“Keep in Touch” with
our customers and
them with us.
“It is sometimes diffi cult for
the older generation of
business owners to accept
changes made by the younger,
but Mom and Dad always
displayed great
enthusiasm and pride towards
the job WE were doing. They
made regular trips to
Electron Top displaying
enthusiasm and interest
towards every new change.”

"Visiting Customers"
1960's - Dad spent many days throughout the 60's visiting
upholstery shops promoting our products. Those visits
established relationships that, in many cases, still exist today. Some of
you may even remember him fl ying to your local airport in his
Cherokee Piper.
1976 - 1988 - Being very loquacious and a bit of a free spirit, Rick took
over sale's visits traveling to our customers on the East Coast in a Realite
motor home. He; like Dad, did a great job maintaining relationships with
our customers.
1988 - 1990 - After many years of exposure to the convertible top
business, Kimmy took over the pleasure of visiting customers on the east
coast. Mom and Dad were against overnight trips except when she could
spend the night with her sister Linda and 5 nieces in Virginia.
No, we never visited customers in an Amphicar!

travelled to the
different trade shows
meeting customers in
person, sometimes for
the fi rst time. Many
times we recognized
a customer by the
sound of their voice
before we knew who
they were.
