The morning gets going
with a couple of religious
performances on the Day

At 11 a.m., things start to
really heat up as Elvis
impersonator Terry Padgett
brings his hip-shaking tribute
to Alabaster. He’ll be
accompanied by veteran
musician Kenny Kirby, performing
a variety of toe-tapping
hits from the ‘50s and

CITYFEST DAY STAGE SOUNDS GREAT

At 1 p.m., Atticus
Avenue, a rock-and-roll outfit
from Pelham, will be taking
the stage. Atticus Avenue
performed at CityFest last
year, and folks can look forward
to another energetic
show.
"Because we had such a
great time last year, when we
found out that we were invited
back this year we were
thrilled,” said drummer Brad
Kuehner. “CityFest is one of
the very few events that
gives local original bands
like us a chance to play our
songs in front of such a large,
diverse, and enthusiastic
crowd."
