Athletic Directors & Staff
A Welcoming Message from the
Athletic Director
I would like to welcome all of you to
Crown Point High School and we appreciate
your attendance at our events. We
are coming off one of the most successful
seasons in Crown Point history. Last
season our student athletes performed
in the classroom and on the playing
fields. Of the 1100 student athletes
that participate in sports here at Crown
Point 506 of them (46%) earned scholar
athlete distinction (3.5 GPA or higher).
Furthermore, over 100 participated in the IHSAA state finals
in their sport and 2 individuals won state championships (Jason
Tsirtsis and Tyler Kral in Wrestling). Also, our boy’s soccer
team won a state championship and the wrestling team was state
runner up. Our teams won 16 IHSAA or DAC championships
last season. With that being said, we are excited to represent the
community of Crown Point on and off the playing fields. Our
coaches strive to develop excellent athletes, but our data shows
there is a strong academic emphasis among all of our programs.
There is tremendous value in participating in athletics at Crown
Point High School. The life lessons learned in competing on a
team or as an individual will leave a lasting imprint on the fabric
of the lives of our student-athletes. Competing in the tough
Duneland Athletic Conference, our Bulldogs are ready to take on
every challenge and rise above all of the adversity that is associated
with competition. One of the key components to our success
is our excellent fans and community that do a great job of supporting
our teams. We appreciate the efforts of our community
and fans to support our teams with the same ideals that we instill
in our student athletes; to exhibit class, professionalism and
sportsmanship. As a member of the Indiana High School Athletic
Association (IHSAA) improving sportsmanship is one of our
highest priorities. We ask that good behavior is modeled not only
for our current competitors but also for our future Bulldogs. We
appreciate your support of our programs and student athletes.
