A Welcoming Message from the Pricipal
Welcome to Crown Point High School. Whether you are a student, alumnus,
parent, fan, or following a visiting team, I hope you enjoy your experience
here at CPHS. Student participation in extra- and co-curricular activities is an
integral part of the educational process. Our community has devoted considerable
time, energy, and financial resources to provide our students with state of
the art facilities and equipment.
I hope that you find our student-athletes competing at a high level and exhibiting
good sportsmanship. They are often reminded that when they “step into the
ring,” they are not just representing themselves, but our community, school, and their families. In
the years to come, the student-athletes you are watching today will go on to be professionals in
their chosen careers. Because most of them won’t be professional athletes, we won’t remember
who scored the most runs, points, or touchdowns. However, please help our student-athletes keep
a global perspective by reinforcing lifelong lessons such as accountability, selflessness, teamwork,
and work ethic.
