Kevin Enright, Head Coach
Kevin Enright enters
his 1 st season as head
coach of the Bulldogs in
2012. Coach Enright is
a graduate of Hammond
Morton High School
(1987), Butler University
(B.S. 1991), and Purdue
University (M.S. 2007).
Coach Enright played 4
years of college football
on the offensive and
defensive lines at Butler
University. After graduating
college, he served
as a police officer for
the City of Hammond,
Indiana, for 12 years. While working as a policeman, Coach
Enright began his coaching career with assistant coaching
stints at Hammond Clark, Hammond Morton, Merrillville,
East Chicago Central, and Crown Point High School. As
an assistant coach at Crown Point, Coach Enright was the
defensive coordinator for three Duneland Conference title
teams that included two undefeated regular seasons. Upon
leaving the police department, Coach Enright taught social
studies for five years at CPHS. In 2009, he left CPHS to
become defensive coordinator and social science teacher at
Homewood-Flossmoor High School in Flossmoor, Illinois. In
2012, Coach Enright will serve as Dean of Students at Crown
Point High School. He resides in Crown Point.
Josh Graegin,
Defensive Backs
Josh Graegin enters his 5 th season
coaching for the Bulldogs. Josh has served
as an assistant coach at Colonel Wheeler
Middle School and varsity assistant at
CPHS in 2011. Coach Graegin is a
graduate of Lowell High School (1996) and
Purdue University Calumet (B.A.) Josh also
coaches wrestling at Taft Middle School.
He is currently teaching psychology and
world history at Crown Point High School.
Josh and his wife Krystin reside in Lowell
with their son Dominic (6) and daughter
Adyson (3).
Dave Egofske,
Offensive Line
Dave Egofske begins his 3 rd season as an assistant
coach at Crown Point High School. Dave graduated
from Rich South High School in Illinois (1976) where
he starred in football and baseball. He went on to
earn his degree from Elmhurst College (IL). Coach ‘E’
then entered the college coaching ranks at Northeast
Missouri State (1980-81) as the offensive line coach and
Illinois Benedictine College (1984-1989) as the defensive
coordinator. After 9 years at the college level, Dave
moved into the high school ranks, serving as the Head
Coach at East Chicago Central (1990-1993) and Crown
Point (1994-2000) as well as the defensive coordinator
at Michigan City (2008-09). Dave received Coach of the
Year recognition in 1991, 1992, 1995, & 1997. Dave &
his wife Ruth have been married 29 years. They reside
in Crown Point & have three daughters, Anna (26), Kayla
(24), and Leah (22).
Vince Lewis,
Running Backs
Vince Lewis is entering his 3 rd season
as a football coach and 1 st at
Crown Point High School. He is a
graduate of Crown Point High School
(2006) and Indiana University (2010).
Coach Lewis began his teaching and
coaching career at Valparaiso High
School (2010-2012), where he taught
Social Studies and coached football
and wrestling. Coach Lewis and his
wife Devin reside in Crown Point.
Sean Granger,
Defensive Coordinator
Sean Granger begins his 12th season as
a coach with the Crown Point Bulldogs. In
his career with the Dogs, Coach Granger
has coached the linebackers and defensive
backs. Coach Granger is a graduate of
Andrean High School (1992) and Wabash
College (1996). Sean works with his father
(Joe) at Commercial Sweeping Corporation
in Crown Point. Prior to coming to the Dogs,
Sean coached one season (2000) with former
Dogs’ Head Coach Pettit and Assistant
Coach Mark Croell at Wheeler High School in
Valparaiso, Indiana. Coach Granger and his
wife Melissa reside in Crown Point with sons
Reilly (10) and Carson (6).
Mark Croell,
Offensive Line
Mark Croell is entering his 12 th season at Crown
Point. Coach Croell has served as offensive
coordinator for six seasons and co-defensive
coordinator for one year. For the past three seasons,
Mark has coached the offensive line. Coach
Croell is a graduate of Portage High School
(1992), Wabash College (B.S.), and Purdue
University (B.S.). He teaches U.S. History at Col.
John Wheeler Middle School. Mark is also the
Athletic Director at Wheeler Middle School. Prior
to coming to Crown Point, Coach Croell taught
social studies at Union Township Middle School.
Coach Croell and his wife Patti reside in Crown
Point with their sons Brett (9) and Drew (7).
Kenny Boyd,
Wide Receivers
Kenny Boyd is entering his 6 th season with
the Bulldogs. Coach Boyd has coached
at Highland High School, Andrean High
School, and Hammond Morton High School
respectively. Prior to coming to Crown Point
High School, Coach Boyd taught 8th grade
social studies at Scott Middle School in
Hammond, Indiana. Coach Boyd is a graduate
of Highland High School (1999) and
Calumet College of St. Joseph (B.S.). Coach
Boyd teaches Economics and United States
Government at CPHS. Kenny and his wife
Amanda reside in Highland with their daughter
Addison (4) and son Hunter (3).
Ken Florek,
Defensive Line
Ken Florek enters his 2 nd season with the
Bulldogs. Coach Florek is a graduate of
Munster High School (2006) and Indiana
University (B.S). Prior to joining the Crown
Point staff, Coach Florek coached defensive
line and running backs at Bloomington
North High School in 2009 and 2010. He
also served as an equipment manager and
coach’s assistant for the tight ends at Indiana
University in 2008. Ken is a licensed physical
education teacher and is currently working
at St. Mary’s Catholic School in Crown
Point. Coach Florek resides in Munster.
Nick Ciochina,
Linebackers
Nick Ciochina enters his 2 nd season
coaching the Bulldogs. Coach Ciochina
is a 2006 graduate of Crown Point High
School. Nick concluded his playing career
at CPHS by participating in the North/South
All-Star Football Game. Nick is a graduate
of Butler University (B.S. 2010). Nick began
his teaching and coaching career at Clark
Middle School in St. John, Indiana, and was
the head football coach at Grimmer Middle
School (St. John, Indiana). He is currently
teaching world history at Crown Point High
School. Coach Ciochina coaches the Dogs’
linebackers. Nick resides in Crown Point.
