Kevin Enright, Head Coach<br />

Kevin Enright enters<br />

his 1 st season as head<br />

coach of the Bulldogs in<br />

2012. Coach Enright is<br />

a graduate of Hammond<br />

Morton High <strong>School</strong><br />

(1987), Butler University<br />

(B.S. 1991), and Purdue<br />

University (M.S. 2007).<br />

Coach Enright played 4<br />

years of college football<br />

on the offensive and<br />

defensive lines at Butler<br />

University. After graduating<br />

college, he served<br />

as a police officer for<br />

the City of Hammond,<br />

Indiana, for 12 years. While working as a policeman, Coach<br />

Enright began his coaching career with assistant coaching<br />

stints at Hammond Clark, Hammond Morton, Merrillville,<br />

East Chicago Central, and <strong>Crown</strong> <strong>Point</strong> High <strong>School</strong>. As<br />

an assistant coach at <strong>Crown</strong> <strong>Point</strong>, Coach Enright was the<br />

defensive coordinator for three Duneland Conference title<br />

teams that included two undefeated regular seasons. Upon<br />

leaving the police department, Coach Enright taught social<br />

studies for five years at CPHS. In 2009, he left CPHS to<br />

become defensive coordinator and social science teacher at<br />

Homewood-Flossmoor High <strong>School</strong> in Flossmoor, Illinois. In<br />

2012, Coach Enright will serve as Dean of Students at <strong>Crown</strong><br />

<strong>Point</strong> High <strong>School</strong>. He resides in <strong>Crown</strong> <strong>Point</strong>.<br />

Josh Graegin,<br />

Defensive Backs<br />

Josh Graegin enters his 5 th season<br />

coaching for the Bulldogs. Josh has served<br />

as an assistant coach at Colonel Wheeler<br />

Middle <strong>School</strong> and varsity assistant at<br />

CPHS in 2011. Coach Graegin is a<br />

graduate of Lowell High <strong>School</strong> (1996) and<br />

Purdue University Calumet (B.A.) Josh also<br />

coaches wrestling at Taft Middle <strong>School</strong>.<br />

He is currently teaching psychology and<br />

world history at <strong>Crown</strong> <strong>Point</strong> High <strong>School</strong>.<br />

Josh and his wife Krystin reside in Lowell<br />

with their son Dominic (6) and daughter<br />

Adyson (3).<br />

Dave Egofske,<br />

Offensive Line<br />

Dave Egofske begins his 3 rd season as an assistant<br />

coach at <strong>Crown</strong> <strong>Point</strong> High <strong>School</strong>. Dave graduated<br />

from Rich South High <strong>School</strong> in Illinois (1976) where<br />

he starred in football and baseball. He went on to<br />

earn his degree from Elmhurst College (IL). Coach ‘E’<br />

then entered the college coaching ranks at Northeast<br />

Missouri State (1980-81) as the offensive line coach and<br />

Illinois Benedictine College (1984-1989) as the defensive<br />

coordinator. After 9 years at the college level, Dave<br />

moved into the high school ranks, serving as the Head<br />

Coach at East Chicago Central (1990-1993) and <strong>Crown</strong><br />

<strong>Point</strong> (1994-2000) as well as the defensive coordinator<br />

at Michigan City (2008-09). Dave received Coach of the<br />

Year recognition in 1991, 1992, 1995, & 1997. Dave &<br />

his wife Ruth have been married 29 years. They reside<br />

in <strong>Crown</strong> <strong>Point</strong> & have three daughters, Anna (26), Kayla<br />

(24), and Leah (22).<br />

Vince Lewis,<br />

Running Backs<br />

Vince Lewis is entering his 3 rd season<br />

as a football coach and 1 st at<br />

<strong>Crown</strong> <strong>Point</strong> High <strong>School</strong>. He is a<br />

graduate of <strong>Crown</strong> <strong>Point</strong> High <strong>School</strong><br />

(2006) and Indiana University (2010).<br />

Coach Lewis began his teaching and<br />

coaching career at Valparaiso High<br />

<strong>School</strong> (2010-2012), where he taught<br />

Social Studies and coached football<br />

and wrestling. Coach Lewis and his<br />

wife Devin reside in <strong>Crown</strong> <strong>Point</strong>.<br />

Sean Granger,<br />

Defensive Coordinator<br />

Sean Granger begins his 12th season as<br />

a coach with the <strong>Crown</strong> <strong>Point</strong> Bulldogs. In<br />

his career with the Dogs, Coach Granger<br />

has coached the linebackers and defensive<br />

backs. Coach Granger is a graduate of<br />

Andrean High <strong>School</strong> (1992) and Wabash<br />

College (1996). Sean works with his father<br />

(Joe) at Commercial Sweeping <strong>Corporation</strong><br />

in <strong>Crown</strong> <strong>Point</strong>. Prior to coming to the Dogs,<br />

Sean coached one season (2000) with former<br />

Dogs’ Head Coach Pettit and Assistant<br />

Coach Mark Croell at Wheeler High <strong>School</strong> in<br />

Valparaiso, Indiana. Coach Granger and his<br />

wife Melissa reside in <strong>Crown</strong> <strong>Point</strong> with sons<br />

Reilly (10) and Carson (6).<br />

Mark Croell,<br />

Offensive Line<br />

Mark Croell is entering his 12 th season at <strong>Crown</strong><br />

<strong>Point</strong>. Coach Croell has served as offensive<br />

coordinator for six seasons and co-defensive<br />

coordinator for one year. For the past three seasons,<br />

Mark has coached the offensive line. Coach<br />

Croell is a graduate of Portage High <strong>School</strong><br />

(1992), Wabash College (B.S.), and Purdue<br />

University (B.S.). He teaches U.S. History at Col.<br />

John Wheeler Middle <strong>School</strong>. Mark is also the<br />

<strong>Athletic</strong> Director at Wheeler Middle <strong>School</strong>. Prior<br />

to coming to <strong>Crown</strong> <strong>Point</strong>, Coach Croell taught<br />

social studies at Union Township Middle <strong>School</strong>.<br />

Coach Croell and his wife Patti reside in <strong>Crown</strong><br />

<strong>Point</strong> with their sons Brett (9) and Drew (7).<br />

Kenny Boyd,<br />

Wide Receivers<br />

Kenny Boyd is entering his 6 th season with<br />

the Bulldogs. Coach Boyd has coached<br />

at Highland High <strong>School</strong>, Andrean High<br />

<strong>School</strong>, and Hammond Morton High <strong>School</strong><br />

respectively. Prior to coming to <strong>Crown</strong> <strong>Point</strong><br />

High <strong>School</strong>, Coach Boyd taught 8th grade<br />

social studies at Scott Middle <strong>School</strong> in<br />

Hammond, Indiana. Coach Boyd is a graduate<br />

of Highland High <strong>School</strong> (1999) and<br />

Calumet College of St. Joseph (B.S.). Coach<br />

Boyd teaches Economics and United States<br />

Government at CPHS. Kenny and his wife<br />

Amanda reside in Highland with their daughter<br />

Addison (4) and son Hunter (3).<br />

Ken Florek,<br />

Defensive Line<br />

Ken Florek enters his 2 nd season with the<br />

Bulldogs. Coach Florek is a graduate of<br />

Munster High <strong>School</strong> (2006) and Indiana<br />

University (B.S). Prior to joining the <strong>Crown</strong><br />

<strong>Point</strong> staff, Coach Florek coached defensive<br />

line and running backs at Bloomington<br />

North High <strong>School</strong> in 2009 and 2010. He<br />

also served as an equipment manager and<br />

coach’s assistant for the tight ends at Indiana<br />

University in 2008. Ken is a licensed physical<br />

education teacher and is currently working<br />

at St. Mary’s Catholic <strong>School</strong> in <strong>Crown</strong><br />

<strong>Point</strong>. Coach Florek resides in Munster.<br />

Nick Ciochina,<br />

Linebackers<br />

Nick Ciochina enters his 2 nd season<br />

coaching the Bulldogs. Coach Ciochina<br />

is a 2006 graduate of <strong>Crown</strong> <strong>Point</strong> High<br />

<strong>School</strong>. Nick concluded his playing career<br />

at CPHS by participating in the North/South<br />

All-Star Football Game. Nick is a graduate<br />

of Butler University (B.S. 2010). Nick began<br />

his teaching and coaching career at Clark<br />

Middle <strong>School</strong> in St. John, Indiana, and was<br />

the head football coach at Grimmer Middle<br />

<strong>School</strong> (St. John, Indiana). He is currently<br />

teaching world history at <strong>Crown</strong> <strong>Point</strong> High<br />

<strong>School</strong>. Coach Ciochina coaches the Dogs’<br />

linebackers. Nick resides in <strong>Crown</strong> <strong>Point</strong>.
