TO THE SUPREXE COURT<br />
Pursuant to an Order made by the Supreme Court <strong>of</strong> the State <strong>of</strong><br />
<strong>Minnesota</strong>, on August 10, 1981, this Commission, designated "The ?finncsota<br />
Advisory Commission on Cameras in the Courtroom" was named. Rosemary >I.<br />
Akznann, Sidney E. Kaner and John S. Isillsbury, Jr. were appointed as<br />
Commissioners and rules governing the proceedings <strong>of</strong> the Commission were<br />
established.<br />
The Commission convened for its first meeting on August 21, 1981.<br />
After electing Co mmissioner Pillsbury as Chairperson, it directed him, *<br />

compliance with Commission Rule 4.01, to cause notice to file "propcsed<br />
s.-<br />
agendas and witness lists” to be sent to Comsel for the Petitioners and<br />
