Noah 4 Users say “No Reason to Wait!”
It’s easier than you think to upgrade to Noah 4
Have you been putting off the
upgrade to Noah System 4? Are you
worried it will be a hassle to install
and learn how to use?
Then you don’t know what you’ve
been missing.
“The vast majority of users find
Noah 4 easy to install, to learn and
to use,” says Søren Kristensen,
Product Manager. “And very
reliable as well. There is simply no
reason to wait to make the upgrade.”
The Proof is in the Surveys
Noah 4 has been on the market
since March and over 2500 offices
now rely on Noah 4 for their daily
tasks. Surveys tell us that these users
are very happy they made the move.
Over 96 percent of users surveyed
feel that Noah 4 is easy to install. In
fact, most users can simply install
Noah 4 on their NOAH System 3
computer and start working right
away. Noah 4 will automatically
move all modules, patient data and
software settings.
The Noah 4 interface also eliminates
the long learning curve. All important
functions are just a click away. That’s
why over 96 percent of those surveyed
also rated Noah 4 easy to learn.
But that’s just the start. Over 90
percent of users find the overall
impression of Noah 4 to be the
same or greater than other software
programs they use daily. And Noah
4 meets or exceeds reliability scores
compared to other industry software.
NOAHaud – The Next
Generation

HIMSA News
HIMSA Welcomes Two New Members
HIMSA is please to welcome two
new members to our organization.
Neuromonics, Inc.
only FDA-cleared, patented and
clinically proven medical device
designed for long-term significant
relief of tinnitus. With research
and development beginning in
the early 1990s, the Neuromonics
Tinnitus Treatment (NTT) has helped
thousands of tinnitus sufferers
improve their quality of life and
overcome the daily life challenges
associated with tinnitus. The NTT
works with a non-invasive, compact,
lightweight device that uses music
– programmed for each patient’s
individual audiological profile – to
deliver a neural stimulus that targets
the brain’s auditory pathways.
Simply Hearing Software
provides technology-driven
clinic management software
designed by and for hearing
Not only is Noah 4 easy and
reliable. Noah 4 also includes a wide
variety of features long requested by
NOAH 3 users.
For example, Noah 4 offers
advanced searching based on hearing
loss or device serial number. You can
attach files to Noah 4 journal entries,
and you can save comments for use
on multiple patient reports.
VPN technology, so you can share
a common Noah database between
several office locations.
Ready to Ride the Wave?
As of July 1st 2012, HIMSA will
no longer sell NOAH System 3
licenses. But there’s no reason to
more information on how to upgrade
your distributor may ask for a fee to
cover their support expenses. You can
also download Noah System 4 from
the HIMSA website at
Noah News
NOAHaud – The Next Generation
HIMSA begins planning for the new Noah 4 audiogram module
The release of Noah System 4 has
been a big success, thanks in large
part to valuable feedback from Noah
users.
Now it’s NOAHaud’s turn.
“NOAHaud is one of the most
popular and most used Noah
modules,” stated Scott Peterson,
Director of U.S. Operations at
HIMSA. “Now, on its 11th birthday,
it’s time to reevaluate it from the
ground up and see how we can make
it even better for today’s hearing care
professionals.”
HIMSA can’t do it alone, however.
To start with, HIMSA will work
together with User Interface Design
GmbH (UID) (www.uid.com), the
same interface experts that designed
Noah 4. UID has already begun
interviewing users to determine how
they use NOAHaud, as well as which
features they use and don’t use.
“As with the Noah 4 Journal
module, the goal is to make a new
design that’s easy to use, where all
the most-useful options are a click
away,” said Peterson. “Flexibility is
also key, to ensure that different users
can use the module in the way that
best fits their needs.”
UID will use this
information to propose
a design for the new and
modern audiogram module.
Then the rest will be up to our
users.
In the near future, HIMSA
will be working closely
with our member companies
to create a new and more
permanent Noah user group.
The first project? Evaluating
the new module design.
“The Noah user group will
become a critical part of all
future projects, and help
HIMSA to ensure great usability
in all of our software,” stated
Peterson. “The audiogram module
is an excellent place to start, since it
is critical for so many hearing care
professionals.”
The Noah 4 Journal module design
Are you excited about a new Noah
audiogram design? Are you willing to
use a few hours each month to help
us with your feedback? Then you
may be just who we are looking for.
Stay tuned for more information on
how you can take part.

additional Noah workstations, the
solution is easy. Upgrade to Noah
4 and get extra workstations at no
extra charge!
The Noah 4 license is a site license,
allowing you to use Noah on several
PCs at a single office location.
If you need to purchase Noah, a
Noah System 4 site license is the
same price as a NOAH 3 1-2 user
license. So with Noah 4, you can add
new workstations as your business
grows.
