Noah 4 Users say “No Reason to Wait!”
It’s easier than you think to upgrade to Noah 4
Have you been putting off the

percent of users find the overall

As of July 1st 2012, HIMSA will
no longer sell NOAH System 3
licenses. But there’s no reason to
wait until then.

for NOAH System 3 owners, though
your distributor may ask for a fee to
cover their support expenses. You can

NOAHaud – The Next Generation
HIMSA begins planning for the new Noah 4 audiogram module
The release of Noah System 4 has
been a big success, thanks in large
part to valuable feedback from Noah
users.
Now it’s NOAHaud’s turn.
“NOAHaud is one of the most
popular and most used Noah
modules,” stated Scott Peterson,
Director of U.S. Operations at
HIMSA. “Now, on its 11th birthday,
it’s time to reevaluate it from the
ground up and see how we can make
it even better for today’s hearing care
professionals.”
HIMSA can’t do it alone, however.
To start with, HIMSA will work
together with User Interface Design
GmbH (UID) (www.uid.com), the
same interface experts that designed
Noah 4. UID has already begun
interviewing users to determine how
they use NOAHaud, as well as which
features they use and don’t use.
“As with the Noah 4 Journal
module, the goal is to make a new
design that’s easy to use, where all
the most-useful options are a click
away,” said Peterson. “Flexibility is
also key, to ensure that different users
can use the module in the way that
best fits their needs.”
UID will use this
information to propose
a design for the new and
modern audiogram module.
Then the rest will be up to our
users.
In the near future, HIMSA
will be working closely
with our member companies
to create a new and more
permanent Noah user group.
The first project? Evaluating
the new module design.
“The Noah user group will
become a critical part of all
future projects, and help
HIMSA to ensure great usability
in all of our software,” stated
Peterson. “The audiogram module
is an excellent place to start, since it
is critical for so many hearing care
professionals.”
