Wincor Nixdorf’s “Revendo 9000” enables the fullyautomated,
environmentally-friendly management
of empty bott les. Here, bott le shape and labeling are
checked using a CCD camera. Even crates that are
identical in construction and color can be precisely
identifi ed by means of a stereo vision process, which
creates an image of the crates and color logos.

In Germany, Wincor Nixdorf reverse vending machines are already saving
more than 800,000 tons of carbon dioxide (CO ) emissions per year.

to be examined quickly in just one single image.
The combination of a large telecentric lens and
telecentric lighting together with a 10 megapixel
iCube camera produces a resolution and an image
fi eld of a size that makes multiple exposures or
multiple camera systems unnecessary.

Fluid level, impurities, chipping, labels and much more can be detected
with a resolution of > 10 pixel/mm.
