Austin City Center It is time to remake an event from IIDA’s past. Some of you may remember the IIDA Road Rally from long ago, well here is a twist on an oldie but goodie! will be held on Friday, April 29 th from 3 – 6:30pm. Our adventure will begin at Molotov, 719 W 6th Street at 3 pm. Teams will be made up of Industry Underwriter and A&D firms for a total of 6-8 people. These teams will have from 3:30 to 5:30 to “Gnome Around Town” (on foot in a specific geographic boundary) following a scavenger hunt handbook and racking up points for accomplishing various objectives. At 5:30 pm everyone will return to Molotv for scoring, prizes, awards ceremony and general happy hour merriment. The cost of underwriting a team is $250! This will cover the event expenses, your GNOME which will be your team mascot and the opportunity to spend time and build valuable relationships with you’re A&D team. Really, it’s a bargain! There will be additional levels of underwriting explained on the attached commitment form. Prizes will be awarded for: Most creative gnome Most creative team name Most creative team/mascot picture First Place Second Place Last Place Each team will need a digital camera or smart phone and must supply their computer cord for downloading pictures. All pictures must include your ALL of the team and gnome to qualify! Please indicate below your level of commitment for participation. Th<strong>is</strong> <strong>event</strong> <strong>is</strong> limited in<br />

underwriting opportunities <strong>an</strong>d <strong>is</strong> on a first come bas<strong>is</strong>. The teams will be made up of 6-8 in<br />

<strong>to</strong>tal, A&D plus underwriter. A&D teams will submit their desire <strong>to</strong> participate <strong>an</strong>d we will try <strong>an</strong>d<br />

keep firms <strong>to</strong>gether; although some teams will be made up of small firms, individuals <strong>an</strong>d<br />

students. Once you have decided <strong>to</strong> participate the committee will pair you with a design firm in<br />

a r<strong>an</strong>dom drawing. If <strong>an</strong>yone else would like <strong>to</strong> attend the <strong>event</strong> happy hour <strong>from</strong> 5 – 6:30, they<br />

will be charged a door fee of $10 for A&D <strong>an</strong>d $25 for Industry. Proceeds <strong>from</strong> the door <strong>an</strong>d tshirt<br />
