Atlas Copco Scooptram RRC - Radio Remote
Control for line-of-sight operations, offers
an effective way of operating inside stopes
and areas exposed to risks of falling rock. By
standing in a safe distance, the operator can
continue to muck until the stope is empty,
thereby getting maximum ore recovery.
Additionally, for narrow stopes, all mucking can
be carried out along the ore body, which means
that costly cross cut development in waste rock
can be reduced.
The Atlas Copco Scooptram RRC is an
easy to use and reliable system, designed
for our Scooptram loaders. Its low weight
and adjustable harness gives the user an
ergonomical, correct and comfortable working
position. Powered by regular rechargeable AA
batteries, the Scooptram RRC can operate a full
shift.
To further extend the service of the product
we offer our customers the Scooptram RRC
kit’s, where all parts for a vehicle installation is
included, makes the order and logistics handling
easier.

To simplify the ordering process and guarantee that everything is included for the RRC
installation, a Scooptram RRC kit has been designed to suit each Scooptram loader. This means
that all parts needed for the specific loader can be ordered as one part number only.

Hydraulic interface
Together with the Scooptram RRC kit the only additional thing needed is the hydraulic RRC kit,
(hydraulic interface). A vehicle including Scooptram RRC always comes with the RRC kit and the
hydraulic interface. A vehicle sold without Scooptram RRC could be prepared with the hydraulic
RRC interface for future remote control needs. This needs to be verified before ordering.

RRC Repair Routine
The repair routine will make sure that a broken machine
unit or operator unit gets repaired and returned to the sender.
This way the end user will only be charged for the damage
that the unit have suffered. The feedback given by the repair
routine will also increase the understanding on how to avoid
operator misuse in the future. All Customer Centers must
make sure to store spare units for the customer to use while
the units are being repaired.

Customer
The Scooptram RRC monitor is a great tool for fast troubleshooting the loader and it’s RRC
installation and the OU Protection Bar reduces the wear and extends the lifetime of the Operator
Unit. When using the OU Transportation Mount, that can be installed in the cab or on the loader, the
transportation of the Operator Unit will be much easier.
