GEON SPECIALTY DISPERSION (FOAM) RESIN
GEON ® 186A
VINYL CHLORIDE HOMOPOLYMER
BENEFITS
− Medium molecular weight resin providing a good balance of fused film
physical properties and fusion characteristics
− Excellent chemical foam characteristics with good overblow resistance
− Good dispersability for easier plastisol preparation
RECOMMENDED USES
Geon ® 186A is recommended for applications where an overall balance of good
rheological and fused film physical properties are required, such as:
1. Low density chemically blown foams
2. Fabric coating applications requiring low “wicking” characteristics
3. Plastisol printing inks
