Leadership of <strong>ACHA</strong>: the Board of Directors<br />
<strong>ACHA</strong> is governed by a Board of Directors, which consists of 18 members and, as the chief operating body of the<br />
association, develops procedures to implement the policies of the association as established by the Assembly of<br />
Representatives, and provides general direction for the association’s activities. The board is comprised of the sixmember<br />
Executive Committee, four members-at-large, six regional representatives, and two student representatives.<br />

<strong>Member</strong>s of the Board (except the Executive Director) are elected by <strong>ACHA</strong> members. A national election is held each<br />
year in the spring for the purpose of electing association offi cers, regional representatives to the Board of Directors,<br />
and section offi cers. Eligible members are strongly encouraged to have their voice heard by nominating and voting for<br />
<strong>ACHA</strong> leaders.<br />
Nominations for <strong>ACHA</strong> Leaders: The Call for Nominations for <strong>ACHA</strong> Offi cers, Regional Representatives, and section<br />

Online voting takes place in March-April every year.<br />
