DT221
The DT221 MkII is a desktop or truss mounted DMX merger
that combines 2 DMX sources into one single DMX source using
either HTP, LTP or priority (DMX-A has priority unless it fails, then
DMX-B is output).
It is ideal for applications where two desks have to share the
same DMX line (for example creating an automatic backup
switchover between master and slave desks if the master desk
fails), or if one desk is controlling lighting and a second desk
communicating via RDM to devices on the same DMX line.
All connections are on the rear, and the setup controls,
comprising LED display and rotary/push encoder, are located on
the front panel. The display shows 3 pages of information: DMX
A and B status; merger mode; DMX offset (where one DMX input
can be offset to control a separate sequential group of DMX
devices).
Product ref: DT229, DT229 FI
DMX and RDM splitter/booster, 2 inputs to 9 outputs
The DT229 is a 19” rackmount DMX splitter supporting the bidirectional extension to the DMX
protocol to accommodate Remote Device Management (RDM).
The DT229 is used in larger DMX networks where more than simple daisy-chain connections
between multiple DMX devices (to a maximum of 32 devices) are needed. DT229 splitter (hub)
boosts the signal to create a ‘star’ network of 9 additional DMX lines from a choice of two DMX
inputs.
Outputs 1-8 are grouped in pairs that can be selected to input A or B by pressing the adjacent
panel push button. Output 9 is on the rear panel for convenience when mounted in a flightcase.
A fully galvanic-isolated version (FI) is also available.
Features include:
• 2 DMX inputs each with DMX thru (parallel) to 4 pairs DMX
outputs selectable to A or B inputs (8 outputs total), plus output
9 on the rear panel for internal connections to DMX input A
• Bi-directional Remote
DT2210
Product ref: DT2210, DT2210 FI
DMX and RDM splitter/booster, 2 inputs to 10 outputs
The DT2210 is a 19” rackmount DMX splitter supporting the bidirectional extension to the DMX
protocol to accommodate Remote Device Management (RDM).
The DT2210 is used in larger DMX networks where more than simple daisy-chain connections
between multiple DMX devices (to a maximum of 32 devices) are needed. DT2210 splitter (hub)
boosts the signal to create a ‘star’ network of 10 additional DMX lines from a choice of two DMX
inputs.
Outputs are grouped in pairs that can be selected to input A or B by pressing the adjacent panel
push button. A fully galvanic-isolated version (FI) is also available.
Features include:
• 2 DMX inputs each with DMX thru (parallel) to 5 pairs DMX
outputs selectable to A or B inputs (10 outputs total)
• Bi-directional Remote
Device Management (RDM)
compatible
• 19” rack mounted
• All DMX/RDM outputs are
boosted signals (connect up
to 32 devices per output)
• Optocoupler isolation
for inputs, full isolation
available as option (FI
option)
• Bi-colour LEDs confirm
presence of viable DMX
signal for inputs A and B
• USB connection for firmware
updates
