Qualified Staff<br />

Our staff includes Qualified First Aiders and specialist activity instructors who are all dedicated to<br />

the well-being and happiness of your children.<br />

Our child-to-staff ratio is 10 to 1, and children are supervised at all times.<br />

Specialist Activities<br />

Mad Science - unique, hands-on experiences for children, as entertaining as they are<br />

educational. Spark your imagination with bubbling potions, oozing slime and fiery model rockets.<br />

Animazing - get up close and personal with exotic mammals, reptiles, amphibians and<br />

invertebrates with Steve and Debbie who, thanks to their wealth of knowledge and experience,<br />

are able to share with you some amazing and interesting facts about their animals.<br />

Pony Morning (10.00am-1.00pm) - for the outdoorsy type, an opportunity to learn about<br />

stable management and pony care, including mucking out, grooming, tack and food. The<br />

morning also includes a riding lesson and mini gymkhana.<br />

Scuba Diving – discover the magic of being able to explore underwater, with these<br />

beginners lessons in the indoor pool.<br />

Kayaking – learn the essentials, from balance to blade control, in the indoor pool.<br />

<strong>Cranleigh</strong> <strong>School</strong> Sports Club<br />

<strong>Cranleigh</strong> <strong>School</strong> Sports Club offers its members access to an outstanding array<br />

of sports facilities, including a double-sized indoor Sports Centre; multiple artificial<br />

surfaces, hard courts and 9 hole golf course; a fully equipped Equestrian Centre,<br />

and both indoor and outdoor pools - all set in <strong>Cranleigh</strong> <strong>School</strong>’s stunning 240 acre<br />

grounds on the edge of the Surrey Hills, an officially acclaimed Area of Outstanding<br />

Natural Beauty.<br />

The terms below apply to all courses booked and conducted by<br />

<strong>Cranleigh</strong> <strong>School</strong>.<br />

Programme Changes<br />

<strong>Cranleigh</strong> <strong>School</strong> reserves the right to cancel a course if there are<br />

insufficient numbers. In such circumstances your money will be<br />

refunded or can be transferred to an alternative course.<br />

Cancellation<br />

In the event of YOU cancelling giving less than 48 hours notice, you<br />

will incur the full cost of the course.<br />

Incompatibility<br />

<strong>Cranleigh</strong> <strong>School</strong> reserves the right to exclude or refuse entry to the<br />

course if it believes that any person is causing damage to the facilities,<br />

or causing distress or is disruptive to other attendees. No refund will<br />

be given under these circumstances.<br />

Medical Details & Emergencies<br />

It is imperative that full details of all medical and special dietary<br />

conditions are declared on the Medical Form for each participant. In<br />

the case of any medical emergency we will contact you as soon as<br />

possible. <strong>Cranleigh</strong> <strong>School</strong> should be made aware of all drugs and<br />

other medication carried with the child, and the parent/guardian is<br />

responsible for ensuring that all items are clearly marked.<br />

Liability<br />

<strong>Cranleigh</strong> <strong>School</strong> accepts all responsibility for those elements of the<br />

course under its direct control if caused by proven negligence of <strong>Cranleigh</strong><br />

<strong>School</strong> or its employees including death or personal injury. <strong>Cranleigh</strong><br />

<strong>School</strong> does not accept responsibility or liability for the loss of enjoyment<br />

arising from, but not limited to the following: travel arrangements, strikes,<br />

acts of terrorism, bad weather, loss of damage to personal property,<br />

personal injury or illness suffered whilst on the course.<br />

Terms and Conditions<br />

Policies & Procedures<br />

1. Children must be collected at the agreed time<br />

2. On arrival for each session, all children must be accompanied<br />

to the ‘Registration Table’ and signed in by their parent or<br />

guardian.<br />

3. When collecting the children, each child must be signed out by<br />

the same adult who signed them in. Should arrangements be made<br />

at any time for any other adult to accompany or collect any child,<br />

the Supervisor must be informed and where possible, introduced<br />

to the nominated adult or a password should be given.<br />

4. Children will not be permitted to depart unaccompanied and make<br />

their own way home unless written permission is obtained from<br />

their parent or guardian.<br />

5. Unless it is required or optional as part of any activity, children<br />

should not bring any toys games or valuable items to the centre.<br />

A small amount of change may be brought for use in the vending<br />

machines.<br />

6. Children must be appropriately clothed for participation in all<br />

activities. This includes a pair of clean trainers for use in the sports<br />

hall and towel & costume for optional swimming.<br />

7. Respect for, and proper use of, all property, equipment and the<br />

premises is essential and must be maintained at all times.<br />

The parents of any child attending the project<br />

should have read and understood the Terms and<br />

Conditions before signing the following declaration.<br />

1. Having read, understood and accepted all statements made in the<br />

Terms & Conditions, I would like my child/ren to be accepted on<br />

to the programme.<br />

2. I undertake to explain all appropriate statements to my<br />

children and emphasise the importance of abiding by those<br />

statements.<br />

3. I understand that should any child contravene any of those<br />

statements, it could result in them being expelled from the<br />

programme and that any monies paid will not be refunded.<br />

4. I understand that any decision made by the organisers will be final.<br />
