BSCS

In 1972 the Board of Scboo 1 .and
Community Service^ (BSCS). une of
Lowell's newest student government
boards, was founded.
Before that time, student pntrnmen!
gave little notice lo the wide
variety of clubs on campus.
The main function of the BSCS is
to oryinue clubs and coordinate activities
thai deal with helping the cemmuttity
and the school.
The board it made up of representatives
from the many dubs, honor
societies, and service group*.
Clubs are steadily getting Utunper
in doing service project*. In the pa*t
they have provtikd services from
painting flagpoles to volunteering in
htnpitali.
•The clubs have done well in
aiding the school. Ncit year we will
try to help tlic community more."

The BSCS also tries to solve problems
such as crowded hallways rnd
the maintenance of cfeiAltrJCu around
the school.
