Subject: COMMUNICATION AND DEVELOPMENT TRAINING-WORKSHOP<br />
Date : September 13, 2012<br />
1. With the aim <strong>of</strong> enhancing the communication and leadership skills <strong>of</strong> educators in<br />
the <strong>Division</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Sarangani</strong>, the <strong>Sarangani</strong> Toastmasters Club (TMC) together with the<br />
Koronadal City TMC and RD TMC, will conduct a Communication and<br />
Development Training-Workshop through various speech deliveries and<br />
competition spearheaded by the Toastmasters Club in existence within the area.<br />
2. In line with this goal, the final date for the AREA 41 TOASTMASTERS CLUB SPEECH<br />
CONTEST will be on September 18, 2012 at exactly 2:00 p.m. at Tierra Montana,<br />
General Santos City.<br />
3. Every club are encouraged to send at least 2 contestants per category:<br />
o HUMOROUS SPEECH – 2 contestants / club<br />
o EVALUATION SPEECH – 2 contestants / club<br />
FOR ROOKIE COMPETITION<br />
o TABLE TOPICS - 2 contestants / club<br />
o INTERNATIONAL SPEECH - 2 contestants / club<br />
4. Travel expenses <strong>of</strong> participants and other incidental expenses shall be charged to<br />
local funds, subject to usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.<br />
5. Please be informed further, that prior to the conduct <strong>of</strong> the said Area Contest, a<br />
joint Toastmasters Meeting <strong>of</strong> the Koronadal TMC and <strong>Sarangani</strong> TMC shall be<br />
conducted in the morning from 9:00 a.m. to 12 noon at Tierra Montana.<br />
6. Attached is the Program for the said competition for your perusal.<br />
7. Immediate and wide dissemination <strong>of</strong> this Memorandum is desired.
