Model 6343
It s the smallest baler in the 6300
Series, but the Model 6343 isn t short
on features. Designed to operate with
a 30 hp tractor, the 6343 produces
consistently dense bales as hefty as
550 pounds, up to 54 inches in diameter
and 39 inches wide. No matter
which model you choose, every
New Idea baler is backed by more

Model 6344
Despite its smaller size and manual
operation, the Model 6344 boasts
amenities you d expect to find on a
larger baler. Using a tractor with as
little as 45 hp, the 6344 produces bales
that measure 47 inches wide
by up to 51 inches in diameter and
weigh in at up to 1,000 pounds.
Model 6345
With its 78-inch-wide, low-profile
pickup and centering augers, the
Model 6345 sweeps up every stem
in the windrow to create solid,
water-shedding bales as large as 60
inches in diameter, 46.5 inches in width
and weighing up to 1,140 pounds.
Some impressive standard features are:
¥ Hydraulic density control to reduce
bale shrinkage and improve overall
bale quality.
¥ Hydraulically actuated slip clutch for
increased belt life.
¥ Dual twine arms for faster tying,
precise twine placement and
positive twine cutoff.
The new-generation, electronic
control box on the 6364 and
6365 lets you control every
aspect of baling, including bale
size, twine or mesh operation,
and the automatic baling cycle.
Standard, easy-to-read,
bale-size indicators give
you total control over
bale size.
Everything you need to
build tight, carbon-copy
bales is incorporated
in the standard baler
control console.

6365 round baler packs in
almost every imaginable
amenity to make short
work of solid 5 x 6
high-density bales that
offer easy handling and
better weatherability.
Model 6364
The Model 6364 automatic baler delivers
top-of-the-line performance in a 4 x 6
baler. With extra-wide, low-profile pickup
for minimal crop loss, it virtually eliminates
the need for gathering wheels. The
self-contained hydraulic system automatically
wraps, disengages the drive, ejects the
bale, closes the tailgate and re-engages
the drive system, all with the push of a
single button. Solid, high-density bales
weigh up to 1,660 pounds each.
Model 6365
The top-of-the-line Model 6365 automatic
baler boasts a 83.6-inch inside width pickup
the widest of any 5 x 6 baler in the
industry to gather in large-volume or
double windrows, as well as wind-blown
swaths. Bales measure 61.5 inches in width
and up to 72 inches in diameter, and weigh
up to 2,200 pounds.

4844, 4845, 4854, 4855 and 4865
4800 features include:
¥ Endless belts last longer than spliced
belts, saving downtime.
¥ Fewer moving parts mean less
chance for breakdown.
¥ Rubber-mounted pickup teeth
(standard on hydraulic pickup drive).
¥ High-capacity twine storage lets you
load 6 balls on the 4844, 4845 and
4854, and 8 balls on the 4855 and 4865.
Series 4800
Fixed-Chamber Balers
New Idea 4800 Series balers create bales
with a unique star-shaped center that optimizes
the relative feed value of any forage,
from alfalfa to grasses, stover to wheat.
Because the 4800 Series also forms a dense
outer shell, you can start baling sooner, at
higher moisture levels, and still deliver the
highest possible levels of nutrition and quality.
Model 4844
When you need high-capacity baling on a
smaller scale, the high-performance Model
4844 creates easy-to-handle 4 x 4 bales.
With its 59 -wide, low-profile pickup, the 4844
puts more crop in every compact bale. So
you get high-density, high-nutrition bales —
and an excellent value for your equipment
dollar.
Model 4845
The Model 4845 creates 4 x 5 bales that
are ideal for transporting on any standardsized
trailer. With its extra-wide 70 pickup,
you get maximum capacity in every bale.
Plus, the optional bale slicer* gives you halfsized
bales that are perfect for feeding in
stanchion barns and other tight quarters.
*Not for use with net wrap.

Optional netting means
you spend less time
wrapping and more time
baling, plus you get
greater nutrient retention.
Model 4854
The Model 4854 delivers all the
standard features of larger New Idea
balers, yet creates compact 5 x 4
bales that can be transported easily
on a standard 8 -wide trailer. The
bale ramp eliminates backup baling,
so operator efficiency is increased
and wear and tear on the equipment
is reduced.
Model 4855
This extra-efficient baler operates
on as little as 65 horsepower, yet
creates larger 5 x 5 bales that are
ideal for feeding beef cattle or dairy
cows with minimal waste. Thanks to

Model 4865
When it comes to high-yielding
crops, like alfalfa, straw and prairie
grasses, no baler works more
efficiently than the Model 4865.
Well-formed 6 x 5 bales, with
star-shaped centers, are ideal for tub
grinding in operations which require
ground hay or stover. And, thanks to
the star-shaped center, these extralarge
bales retain more relative feed
value in the palatable core longer.
The 80 o , constant-velocity,
PTO driveline hooks directly
to the tractor without
hitch extensions, and lets
you bale around tight
corners without driveline
chatter or damage.
The softer, star-shaped center
core is the secret to retaining
relative feed value for months
after baling.
