Input > 22.0 VDC is NOT considered Low VDC input.<br />

(b) 24VDC Timing.<br />

Low VDC input < 200 ms is NOT considered a FAULT.<br />

Low VDC input > 500 ms is considered a FAULT.<br />

(c) Watchdog Monitor Input.<br />

Input < 4.0 VDC is considered a LOW STATE.<br />

Input > 12.0 VDC (or OPEN) is considered a HIGH STATE.<br />

(d) Watchdog Error Timing.<br />

Lack <strong>of</strong> valid input state changes for < 1400 ms is NOT a FAULT.<br />

Lack <strong>of</strong> valid input state changes for > 1600 ms is a FAULT.<br />

g. Communications <strong>and</strong> S<strong>of</strong>tware.<br />

(1) Install an RS232 port for laptop communications on the<br />

front panel <strong>of</strong> the Monitor.<br />

(2) Furnish a Monitor with compatible communications<br />

s<strong>of</strong>tware for installation on a laptop computer, capable <strong>of</strong> interfacing with the<br />

Monitor via the RS232 port on the front panel. Furnish the s<strong>of</strong>tware on a 3 1/2inch<br />

(85 mm) floppy disk with each Monitor. Label each disk with revision<br />

number <strong>and</strong> date.<br />

(3) Furnish a Monitor that is capable <strong>of</strong> being programmed <strong>and</strong><br />

set-up for intersection operation without the use <strong>of</strong> a laptop computer <strong>and</strong><br />

communication s<strong>of</strong>tware; consider programming the Monitor via the laptop<br />

computer a secondary method <strong>of</strong> set-up.<br />

(4) Furnish a Monitor communications s<strong>of</strong>tware that is capable<br />

<strong>of</strong> showing <strong>and</strong>/or programming the status <strong>of</strong> all programmable set-up parameters<br />

<strong>of</strong> the unit. Furnish a communications s<strong>of</strong>tware that is capable <strong>of</strong> displaying the<br />

following data:<br />

(a) Fault type<br />

(b) Field status (must update status continuously)<br />

(c) AC line voltage (must update status continuously)<br />

(d) Status <strong>of</strong> Red Enable<br />

(e) Previous fault data<br />

(f) Program card matrix<br />

(g) Yellow disable jumpers (if applicable)<br />

(h) Switch settings per channel (as applicable)<br />

(i) Option switches<br />

(j) Current time<br />

(k) Temperature (must update status continuously)<br />
