13. Also calculate <strong>and</strong> report the percent loss due to curing [G] as follows:<br />

G = [(D - C) / (C - B)] x 100<br />

14. Examine the s<strong>and</strong> / resin matrix for signs <strong>of</strong> insufficient curing <strong>and</strong> bond, or<br />

excessive shrinkage.<br />

<strong>Material</strong> Approval. The manufacturer will provide certified test data verifying<br />

compliance with the above requirements; technical data sheet; current MSDS for<br />

the material; 1 gallon sample; <strong>and</strong> a letter certifying that the product formulation<br />

will not be altered without notification to the <strong>Department</strong> <strong>and</strong> OMM.<br />

OMM will determine materials acceptance <strong>and</strong> include in the <strong>Department</strong>’s<br />

qualified Products list (QPL).<br />

Furnish materials according to the <strong>Department</strong>’s Qualified Products List<br />

(QPL).<br />

705.26 Epoxy injection Resin. Provide epoxy injection resin capable <strong>of</strong><br />

application, positive adherence <strong>and</strong> strength development when applied to moist<br />

or wet surfaces at temperatures <strong>of</strong> 33 °F (1 °C) <strong>and</strong> above.<br />

Use products that contain 100% solids material <strong>and</strong> no non-reactive diluents,<br />

solvents or other fillers. Provide materials that meet the following requirements:<br />

A. The injection material will meet the requirements <strong>of</strong> ASTM C 881 Type IV,<br />

Grade 1 <strong>and</strong> Class B or C <strong>and</strong> have a maximum viscosity <strong>of</strong> 600 cps at the lowest<br />

ambient material <strong>and</strong> substrate temperature to be used.<br />

B. The paste materials will meet the requirements <strong>of</strong> ASTM C 881 Type I,<br />

Grade 3 <strong>and</strong> Class B or C.<br />

<strong>Material</strong> Approval. The manufacturer <strong>of</strong> the materials is responsible for<br />

prequalifying the material <strong>and</strong> submitting the following to the OMM:<br />

A. An Independent certified test data indicating that the materials, when mixed<br />

according to the manufacturer’s recommendations, meet the requirements listed<br />

above.<br />

B. Manufacturer’s technical data sheet for the paste <strong>and</strong> injection materials.<br />

C. MSDS for paste <strong>and</strong> injection materials.<br />

D. 1 Gallon Sample or 2 kits <strong>of</strong> the injection materials<br />

Furnish materials according to the <strong>Department</strong>’s Qualified Products List (QPL).<br />

706 CONCRETE AND CLAY PIPE<br />

706.01 Non-Reinforced Concrete Pipe. Provide non-reinforced concrete pipe<br />

conforming to ASTM C 14 (ASTM C 14M), with the following modifications:<br />

6.2 Provide cementitious materials conforming to 701, except 701.07.<br />
