The problem <strong>of</strong> dogs running at large<br />
in Upper Township is becoming very<br />
serious.<br />
Under New Jersey dog licensing law<br />
any time that a dog i$ <strong>of</strong>f the premises o^<br />
the person in charge <strong>of</strong> the dog, that dog<br />
may be impounded by the dog warden<br />
even if the dog is licensed.<br />
If the dog owners <strong>of</strong> Upper Township<br />
do not correct this situation immediately, it<br />
may become necessary for the Township<br />
Officials to act under the state Health laws,<br />
and issue a proclamation authorizing the<br />
killing <strong>of</strong> any dog found running at large<br />
within Upper Township. '<br />
