PowerPC ® and Nios ® -based <strong>3U</strong> CompactPCI ® Boards<br />

MEN offers a broad range of processor architectures – specially configured for the desired area of application. Due<br />

to their low power dissipation PowerPC ® processors have advantages especially in harsh and mobile environments,<br />

while Altera ® 's Nios ® II offers incomparable flexibility for its final application.<br />

Equipped with a Cyclone TM FPGA and an integrated Altera ® Nios ® II microcontroller softcore, MEN's F206N is certainly<br />

one of the most flexible CompactPCI ® cards on the embedded market. <strong>The</strong> final functionality of the F206N<br />

entirely depends on its field of application. This starts with a pure UART solution and goes up to a complex analog<br />

front end with DSP-like data preprocessing.<br />
