SUGGESTED REFINEMENTS IN INSTRUCTIONS FOR
THE INDIVIDUAL SCHOOL CAMPUS REPORT

Report in each column the number of pupils enrolled
in any type of special education program at
this school campus for any part of the school day
EXCEPT students with physical, health, sensory and
related handicaps. If there are no special education
programs offered at this school campus, enter "0".
This line should be the sum of the numbers reported
in lines I, 2, 3 and 4 of this item.
Line A.I. Report in each column the number of
pupils enrolled for any part of the school day in special
education programs for educable mentally retarded
(EMR) or educable mentally handicapped
(EMH) pupils.
Line A.2. Report in each column the number of
pupils enrolled for any part of the school day in special
education programs for trainable mentally retarded
(TMR) or trainable mentally handicapped
(TMH) pupils.
Line A.3. Report in each column the number of
pupils enrolled for any part of the school day in special
education programs for pupils with specific
learning disabilities. This should include all pupils
who have been diagnosed as having one or more of
the following conditions: perceptual handicaps, brain
injury, minimal brain dysfunction, dyslexia, and developmental
aphasia. This should not include pupils
with learning problems resulting from visual, hearing
or motor handicaps, mental retardation or emotional
disturbance.
Line A.4. Report in each column the number of
pupils enrolled for any part of the school day in
special education programs for the emotionally
disturbed.

Line B. Report in each column the number of
pupils enrolled for any part of the school day in
special programs at this school campus for physical,
health, sensory and related handicaps. This includes
all pupils who have been diagnosed as having one
or more of the following handicaps: blindness, deafness,
hard of hearing, speech impaired, visually impaired,
crippled or other health impaired (such as
epilepsy, diabetes or rheumatic fever.) Do not include
in Line B any students reported in any part
of Line A.
ITEM X.
Line A. Report in each column the number of
pupils who have been suspended at least once during
the previous school year from any regular class program
on this school campus. Any pupil removed
from his/her regular class program for at least one
day but not over 20 days is considered to be suspended.
Count each pupil only once regardless of
the number of times that pupil was suspended.
Line B. Report in each column the number of
pupils included in Line A who have been suspended
more than two times during the previous school
year. Any pupil removed from his/her regular class
program for at least one day but not over 20 days
is considered to be suspended.
Line C.l. Report in each column the total number
of suspensions from any regular class program
during the previous school year that were for 1-3
days duration.
Line C.2 Report in each column the total number
of suspensions from any regular class program
during the previous school year that were for 4-10
days duration.
Line C.3. Report in each column the total number
of suspensions from any regular class program
during the previous school year that were for 11-20
days duration.
NOTE: The sum of Lines C.1, 2 and 3 above should
equal the total number of suspensions from
regular class programs on this school campus
during the previous school year. Each time a
pupil was suspended should be counted as a
single suspension.
