sidewalks and curbs, and the location of all other<br />

utilities and other underground structures.<br />

• Install lot boundary pins or markers in the area under<br />

development prior to the start of trenching for the URD.<br />

• Notify the <strong>Company</strong> of the completion of rough grade,<br />

installation of other facilities at grades below URD and<br />

the schedule of desired electric service connections so<br />

that the <strong>Company</strong> will have adequate time to install its<br />

facilities.<br />

• Provide trenching<br />

and conduit or conduit systems as<br />

required. See paragraph 901 for a list of such<br />

requirements and paragraph 910 for conduit<br />

requirements/specifications.<br />

908. PADMOUNT TRANSFORMERS<br />

Installation of padmount transformers is limited to cases<br />

meeting<br />

the following specifications:<br />

1. Single-phase three-wire services, (a) operating at<br />

120/240 volts and requiring transformer capacity of not<br />

more than 167 kVA, or (b) operating at 240/480 volts and<br />

requiring transformer capacity of not more than 50 KVA;<br />

or<br />

2. Three-phase four-wire services operating at 120/208<br />

volts or 277/480 volts Wye and requiring transformer<br />

capacity of not more than 2500 KVA. (Larger units may be<br />

available by special arrangement.)<br />
