other distribution system exists or will be required in the<br />

which would result in duplication of facilities.<br />

The development shall be laid out in such manner that there<br />

will be a continuous distribution system to the most remote<br />

location requiring<br />

service.<br />

Transformer pads will generally be located adjacent to the<br />

property line and between ten and twenty feet in from the street<br />

lines in accordance with Illustration No. 21 in Section XII.<br />

Construction of the URD system will not normally be<br />

undertaken until all grading is completed and services which are<br />

installed at a lower grade (sewer, water, gas) are already in place.<br />

Electric service will not normally be installed in advance of the<br />

requirement for use.<br />

A. RESPONSIBILITY OF THE COMPANY<br />

The <strong>Company</strong> will:<br />

• Determine the location and provide specifications<br />

for the<br />

underground<br />

electrical distribution system, including<br />

primary and secondary circuits, transformers and<br />

customer services.<br />

B. RESPONSIBILITY OF BUILDER, DEVELOPER,<br />

CUSTOMER<br />

For a URD system, as described herein, the builder or<br />

developer will:<br />

• Furnish to the <strong>Company</strong> a complete site plan of the<br />

development (in hard copy and if available in electronic<br />
